This policy explains what QuoteCompareNow (“we”, “us”, “our”) does with information when you visit quotescomparenow.com (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Clench Media LLC. By using it, you accept the practices described here.

The short version

We publish guides and calculators. We host no quote form, no accounts, no newsletter, and no comments, so there is nothing on this Site that asks for your name, phone number, email address, or driver details. What we do process is limited to what any web server and analytics setup sees: an IP address, a browser user agent, the pages requested, and cookie-based measurement.

Information we collect

• Server logs. Our web server records the IP address of the request, the browser and operating system user agent, the page requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is standard operational logging used for delivery, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
• Advertising measurement. We run the Microsoft Advertising UET tag so we can tell which advertising campaigns bring people to the Site and which pages they read. It uses cookies and reports back to Microsoft Advertising.
• Analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages perform. Clarity uses cookies and records interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement so we can see which sections people actually read and where a layout confuses them.
• Click tracking. When you follow a quote link, our own tracking assigns an anonymous click identifier — a random string, not tied to your identity — and passes it to our marketplace partner so the referral can be counted and we can be paid for it.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we have your email address and whatever you chose to include in the message.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, receive, or store your name, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth, Social Security or driver's license number, vehicle information, driving history, or payment details. We maintain no marketing list. We never call you and we never email you, and we do not send quotes by email, because we do not have your contact information.

Quote requests happen somewhere else

Selecting Get Quotes or Get Started takes you off this Site to a quote comparison marketplace operated by QuinStreet. You complete the quote request there, and everything you enter is collected by that company under its own privacy policy and terms of use, not ours. We receive no copy of it.

Read that partner's privacy policy before you submit anything, and pay attention to any consent language about phone calls, text messages, or email from insurers and agents. Those permissions are between you and the companies named there. We are not a party to them and cannot grant, revoke, or act on them.

How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the Site and its calculators.
• To measure how people find and use our guides.
• To measure advertising performance and count referrals to our marketplace partner.
• To detect and prevent fraud, automated abuse, and security incidents.
• To answer a message you send us and to comply with the law.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. Information reaches other parties in only these ways:

• Service providers that host and secure the Site and deliver our email, restricted by contract to those functions.
• Advertising and analytics platforms, through the tags described above, which observe your visit through their own cookies. Under California law this activity may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we offer an opt-out — see the California Privacy Notice.
• Our marketplace partner, which receives the anonymous click identifier when you follow a quote link.
• Legal and safety disclosures where required by law, court order, or a valid government request, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
• A business transfer, if the Site is merged with or sold to another company, in which case this policy travels with the data.

Cookies and how to control them

The cookies on this Site come from the advertising measurement and analytics tools described above and from our own click tracking. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a per-site setting. Blocking them stops the measurement; the guides and calculators still work.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or extension sends that signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sharing for advertising purposes from that browser.

Links to other sites

Beyond our marketplace partner, the Site links to state insurance departments, industry bodies, and other outside resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for how they handle your information. Once you leave quotescomparenow.com, their policies apply.

Your privacy rights

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sharing. Those disclosures and the request process are on our California Privacy Notice. We extend the same practices to visitors from every state.

To make any privacy request, email [email protected]. Because we hold so little, there is often nothing linkable to an individual on our side; if that is the case, we will say so plainly.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, and the surest safeguard is that we do not collect sensitive information in the first place. No online service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
